Regular Season Round 7: Xac Broncos - Kings 94-73

Round 7 in Basketball Champions League Asia means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place when MongolianBroncos (4-0) crushed league's leader Taiwanese Kings (4-2) 94-73 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Xac Broncos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kings ' 28. They outrebounded Kings 43-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. Xac Broncos looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Ian Miller (191-1991, college: FSU, agency: Diamond Sports) fired 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Broncos players scored in double figures. Broncos' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Po-Chih Wang (195-1996) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Broncos have a solid series of four victories in a row. Xac Broncos keep a position of league leader. Kings at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Xac Broncos.
